Sucking it up

After reading Mr. Quinn's blog today, I felt as though I needed to post something on here. Since one month before Cruz was born, I've posted only a handful of entries on here. I need to suck it up. No time, no schmime.

You see, everyone says having a child changes your life. While that is true, I would argue that a more accurate statement would be "having a second child becomes your life." I mean it's a big deal if Molly and I are in the same room at the same time for a reason other than getting a bottle, changing a diaper, getting/doing something for Brooks (like giving him a bath after playing in the mud), or sleeping. Blogging? Are you kidding me? As much as I enjoy blogging, it's not how I'm going to spend my 10 free minutes a day.

As TQ would say, however, I need to suck it up. We all know what excuses are like and no one wants to hear mine. Heck, no one will hear mine if I put it on here because I've lost the only 3 readers I had. But that's okay, I'd rather be a non-blogger than (or is it then?) a deadbeat dad. So here's to finding 10 minutes on my lunch hour each day to talk about how bad my Knights are this year.

Great picture of both Harlan boys.
That's the worst thing about living 1800 miles away--missing family and friends. I just enjoy the time more when I see all my fam and buds. And although our two were six years apart, I know what you mean about having no time. Take care and get those Cardinals going. TQ

Try having THREE kids. Then the parents are outnumbered by the kids... it's a wonder we don't have McDonald's or Domino's every single night at the Quinn house.
