TMC-Week 15

And then there were two. Let me begin by offering my congrats to Wes and Mr. Milt on their second round victories over the Puffins and Creamers. There will be a first-time champion crowned next week when the two teams face each other in the championship game.
Like I said earlier, I'm done talking about the Rams so I won't get into that mess. Can someone call housekeeping at Rams Park? We are in need of a serious cleanup.
One thing I want to mention before we get to the games-congrats to the '72 Dolphins, who get to get loaded next weekend celebrating the Colts loss to the Chargers. What a bunch of losers. Do they realize that to an entire generation their identity is not the perfect season? Quit it already! All you're doing is making yourself look like a bunch of goofs. Sorry, I had to get it out. Here's a look at the games...

Rampage 101, Creamers 67 (Creamers 90, Rampage 84)
Okay, I'm gonna make Ryan mad, but I have to say it...Brett Favre is done. Sorry, Ryan. Terry runs into the title game thanks to big games from his RBs, Rudi Johnson and Shaun Alexander. Oh yea, the 33-spot put up by the Panthers and 24-spot Chris Cooley added didn't hurt. For Ryan, the seasons over earlier than he is used to. Hey Pietsch, you want to play this week? Let's call it the Loser Bowl. How 'bout it?
Game ball goes to-Chris Cooley. Wow, how 'bout them Cowboys! Cooley caught 6 balls, but got the hat trick, 24 points.

Benchpressers 75, Horned Puffins 66 (Pressers 94, Puffins 85)
Nothing like a three-game losing streak to close the season. Good times! Any hope I had was lost when Thomas Jones ended the Sunday night game with 94 total yards, leaving me nine behind Wes. I did get my hopes up last night as Sam Gado was running wild for a few minutes, but then...BOOM...down goes Gado! And that, my friends, closed the book on the 2005 RFL season for me. Merry Christmas!
All kidding aside, Wes has been hot and he did a fine job putting together his team through some nice trades. As much as I questioned trading Edge to Troy earlier in the year, it's a move that has really paid dividends for him as Carson Palmer has just simply been the man. He and Tiki Barber led the way for Wes, who advances to the title game for the first time in franchise history.
Game ball goes to-Tiki Barber. Tiki's huge game Saturday against the Chiefs set the tone. 249 total yards, 2 TDs, 26 points.

Good luck to Terry and Wes this weekend. We have a special treat coming later this week for our game predictions. Stay tuned!
