Reggie Bush or Vince Young?

With the NFL Draft just a mere 3 1/2 months away it may seem a bit early to post something about it, but I had to. In the aftermath of Texas beating USC in the Rose Bowl (sorry corporate sponsor, you aren't paying me anything to write this so you get omitted), many are now anxious to hear whether or not QB Vince Young will enter the draft this April. Many are speculating that the Houston Texans, who have the #1 pick, should consider taking the hometown hero with that first pick. I say no way. If the Texans take Young over Reggie Bush they are nuts. Crazy. Insane. Was Young the best player on the field Wednesday night? Yes. But is he going to have a better career than Bush? Again, I say no way. If the Texans really want Young and not Bush that's fine. Draft Bush and wait for the team that takes Young to offer O-Line help, defensive help, and whatever else the Texans want, along with Young. In return, they get Bush and David Carr. That's the only way Reggie Bush isn't in a Texans uni next fall.
