Monday Night Must-See TV

Monday Night Football kicks off its final season on ABC tonight. That's all well and good, but for us fantasy leaguers it is much more than just another Monday night. With only one game completely over (congrats Pietsch), there will be some anxious owners staying up late tonight.

"Tuesday is not usually an overly-productive day in the Guidance Office when you have games like tonight," stated Puffin exec Derek Harlan. Harlan, like many other owners, has to balance his cheering in tonights game. "Yea, I have a three point lead over Hudnall in the MVRL and have the Falcons D going tonight and he has Donny McNabb, so I'll be cheering on the Falcons. But, in another league I'm tied with a guy and I have L.J. Smith, so I need at least ten yards out of him. It's tough rooting for and against the same guys, but what can I say? I love this game."

Harlan did offer this bit of advice for those heading into tonight's game with the outcome to close to call at this point: "As bad as it is to fall just short in your game, it's worse to go to work with a loss and a hangover."
