Crapshoot gun down Puffins

It was fun while it lasted, but all good things must come to an end. That's the feeling today at the Cove, as the Horned Puffins' 9-game win streak came to an end Monday night at the hands of Ryan Fagan's Crapshoot.
"We've had a good run and we're not going to let this one loss put a dark cloud over our season," stated Derek Harlan. "We have said all along that our goal isn't to win every single game in the regular season, it's to make the playoffs and then win every single game."
The Puffins win streak was bookended by the Crapshoot, who defeated the Puffins back in week 2 before winning again in week 12.
"Keep Fagan out of the playoffs!" joked Harlan. "He definitely seems to have our number."
The Puffins appeared headed for a comeback win, when on the Colts' first play from scrimmage, Peyton Manning hooked up with Marvin Harrison for an 80-yard TD strike.
"Yea, I liked our chances," said Harlan. "I mean, we go into the game needing 19 points to win and we get 13 of them one one play, but that's life in the RFL."
The Horned Puffins close out the regular season this week against the Buffet Boys.
