TMC-Week 12

Sorry this is getting posted so late, but I've been busy searching ebay for some Ryan Fitzpatrick rookie cards. What a week huh? The Rams-Texans & Seahawks-Giants games were as entertaining as it gets. Notice how I said entertaining and not good. Can the Rams play an entire game with the energy and sense of urgency the way they did the the 4th quarter Sunday? Just curious.
The playoff picture is starting to come into view and a week from now we'll know exactly what it looks like. My 4-2 week gets me back to .500 at 36-36. Here's a look at each contest...

Hud 92, Eric 78 (Hud 75, Eric 68)
Hoffman's RBs (L. Johnson & D. Davis) and Issac Bruce were the only ones who showed up as Hud got huge games from Todd Heap (25 pts), the Colts D (23 pts), and Mike Vanderjagt (16 pts). There was even a Jamal Lewis sighting (13 pts) as Hud moves to 5-7 on the year.
Game ball goes to-Todd Heap. 6 grabs for 87 yds and 2 TDs, 25 pts.

Crapshoot 102, Horned Puffins 100 (Shoot 80, Puffs 76)
After Marvin Harrison's opening-play 13-pointer I thought this one was in the bag. Instead John Madden talks Tony Dungy into not throwing the ball in the 4th quarter. Thanks a lot Madden! Fagan, meanwhile, picks up the win as he gets big games from Jason Witten (22 pts) and Andre Johnson (20 pts). Hey, what happened to Keenan McCardell?
Game ball goes to-Jason Witten. 9 snags for 82 yds and a TD, 22 pts.

Maddogs 93, Double Down 62 (DD 98, Dogs 95)
The Maddogs pick up the win getting big games from potential keepers Eli Manning (20 pts) and Jeremy Shockey (28 pts). It's worth noting that Scott got 81 points from his reserves. That's a lot of points.
Game ball goes to-Jeremy Shockey. He makes the TEs 3-for-3 this week, catching 10 balls for 127 yds, a TD, and a 2-pt conversion, 28 pts.

Owls 100, Al 59 (Owls 93, Al 78)
Mr. Quinn jumped out to a big lead Thanksgiving Day and never looked back. Alge Crumpler (26 pts), Torry Holt (16 pts), and Drew Bledsoe (14 pts) led the playoff-bound Owls.
Game ball goes to-Alge Crumpler. 4-for-4. 7 catches, 104 yds, 2 TDs, 26 pts.

R. Pietsch 91, T. Pietsch 44 (Big 81, Lil 74)
Edge and Co. didn't have enough to take down the Big Bro. as Ryan keeps chase of Mr. Milt in the White division. Leading the way for the Creamers were the Titans D (28 pts), T.J. Houshmanzadeh (20 pts), and LeMont Jordan (19 pts).
Game ball goes to-T.J.H. (I'm not typing that last name again). 9-154, TD, 20 pts.

Rampage 108, Pressers 76 (Wes 108, Milt 92)
Terry just continues to, as Larry the Cable Guy says, "Git 'R' Dun." Milt maintains his lead in the league's toughest division after beating the streaking Benchpressers. The Rampage were led by David Carr (22 pts), the Panthers D (21 pts), Rudi Johnson (19 pts), Lawrence Tynes (15 pts), Shaun Alexander (13 pts), and Joey Galloway (10 pts).
Game ball goes to-David Carr. 332 yds and 3 TD passes, 22 pts.

As always, congrats to the winners, my apologies to those I picked to lose, and be sure to get your claims in by midnight.
