Puffins Notebook: Dolphin duo

This past Tuesday the Horned Puffins submitted a claim for the first time in several weeks. The team added RB Sammy Morris of the Miami Dolphins. Morris is expected to be the feature back while Ronnie Brown is out. "We figured we have nothing to lose at this point," said GM Derek Harlan. "We've gotten some unexpected use out of guys like Leon Washington and Wali Lundy so we hope the streak continues with Sammy."

In other news...
the team also added WR Marty Booker once free pickups began. "We like the way he and Joey Harrington have been clicking, so we took a chance," stated Harlan. "If Marvin wants to pout, we'll use Marty, it's really that simple."...getting their walking papers were RB Wali Lundy and WR Chris Chambers. Chambers fell out of favor with the team about three months ago, so he should consider himself lucky that he stuck around as long as he did...QB Eli Manning's recent struggles have been well documented, but one story that has not made it to the front page of the tabloids yet-the fact that he'll face the Dallas Cowboys and QB Tony Romo this weekend. Why is this significant? Romo recently went on a date with Jessica Simpson. "Don't even go there," said Manning. "I got enough to worry about without that being brought up."
