TMC-Week 12

I hope everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving holiday. I know I did. Speaking of which, I need to share something with you. I miss many things about teaching in the classroom. I love being in guidance, but it's not the classroom. One of the many things I miss is telling students on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving about the proper attire for the big day. Like I was at that age, they are unaware of the importance of an elastic waistband for Thursday. My high school English teacher taught us to have some flexibility around your waist so you could eat more. To this day, when I get ready on Thanksgiving I put on pants that are either elastic or about a size too big. Thanks Mr. Quinn.

Dogs 89 (94), Owls 79 (77)
Of Scott's 89 points, none came from his QBs. That's ok though because Steven Jackson and Chad Johnson continued their strong play.
Game ball for Steven Jackson. 192 total yards and a TD, 16 points.

Double Down 113 (87), Carpetbaggers 88 (78)
The Wardgate game was won by Daniels as he got solid games from nearly everyone in his lineup. Lost in all the controversy is the fact that Joseph Addai and his 38 points were left on Al's bench. Ouch.
Game ball for Carson Palmer. 277 total yards and 3 pass TDs, 19 points.

Puffins 106 (86), Crapshoot 53 (79)
LDT and his mates doubled up the Crapshoot. Just so everyone knows now-I will most likely not draft Chris Chambers in the 1st round of the draft ever again.
Game ball for LDT. 133 total yards, 2 rush TD, and 1 pass TD, 23 points.

Buffet Boys 58 (82), Depressers 48 (89)
Kind of a snoozer here so I'll talk about the Rams. To be honest, I didn't see much of the game since I was outside working in the yard, but I did see the game-winning drive. I think what impressed me the most about the whole game actually came Monday when Linehan was discussing his giving up the play-calling saying that he didn't have much of an ego and all he wanted to do was win. I've wondered lately if he had what it took to get the job done, but after hearing his press conference I think I know the answer. I'll go out on a limb and say the Rams are a wild card team.
Game ball for Larry Johnson. LJ finished Turkey Day with 163 total yards and a TD, 16 points.

Big P 134 (82), Lil P 32 (67)
I mean, seriously. Have a heart.
Game ball for Devery Henderson. 158 yards and a TD, 20 points.

Pressers 111 (92), Rampage 73 (93)
Tony Romo and the Ravens D outscored Milt, as well as 4 other teams. Tony Romo. Why didn't I buy like 500 of his rookie cards about 3 months ago? Why?
Game ball for the Ravens D. 2 int, DFR (returned for a TD), 9 sacks, 21 rush yards allowed, 151 pass yards allowed, shutout, 48 points.
