Week 10 MVRL predictions

Glad to see the Cardinals are bringing Jimmy back for two more years. I ripped on him a lot this year, but after watching them play with Juan in CF it was obvious that the team is just simply better with Edmonds out there. And after the playoff run, well, it was a no-brainer. Anyway, when the Rams start winning again I'll talk about them, until then it's baseball.

Burrowing Owls @ Benchpressers
The Pressers have won 5 in a row and the Owls have thrown in the towel. The Owls have Grossman on the road against the Giants in primetime. The Pressers have the Ravens D against the Titans and their rookie QB. I like Torry Holt to have a big week against the Seahawks and Jamal Lewis against the Titans. I'm predicting an upset.
Owls 90, Pressers 86.

Double Down @ Pietschskins
I'm guessing Troy will not have an illegal lineup by kickoff, but that's ok-I'm still picking Daniels.
DD 99, Skins 69.

Kamikaze Maddogs @ Crapshoot
Fagan has lost 5 in a row, but I think this is another game that'll end up being close. I think Scott wins, barely.
Dogs 80, Crapshoot 77.

Carpetbaggers @ Buffet Boys
Here's your game of the week. Al's won 4 in a row. Hoffman is 4-5, but has a team that, I'd be willing to bet, anyone in the league would trade their's for. Al made a big trade this week for Willie Parker and he'll be the difference against the Boys.
Baggers 107, Boys 100.

Horned Puffins @ Creamers
The Puffins have lost two in a row and are so concerned about points this week that they have abandoned their own philosophy of not playing two kickers and are starting Ryan Longwell and John Carney. Hopefully the gamble will pay off. Speaking of which, what has happened to Anyblog, USA? Just curious.
Puffins 77, Creamers 64.

De-Pressers @ Rampage
You know what? As I look over Hud's roster I can't help but think he's got one of the four or five best teams in the league. He does. Milt has put together a 6-3 record and many wonder whether or not that record truly reflects the quality of his team. Well guess what folks? He's 6-3 so he must be doing something right. That said, I'm picking Hud to win this one.
Hud 116, Milt 96.

last week: 1-5
season: 23-31
