Knights Set New SB Record
Jose Reyes helped put the Harlan Knights in the MVRL record book Friday night. With his steal of 2nd base, he gave the Knights 151 stolen bases on the year, surpassing the A-Balls record of 150 set in 2001."I think it just goes to show how the game has come back to reality," stated owner Derek Harlan. "When you look at some of the offensive numbers in the record book, it just smells like steroids. I don't really know what steroids smell like, but you know what I mean."
The Knights lead is still in double digits, but has dwindled as of late.
"The season cannot get over with fast enough," added Harlan.
