Putting it on the table

In a non-baseball item of note from Tuesday's All-Star Party, the Horned Puffins of the Football MVRL made a standing offer to the Benchpressers' Wes Williams of Tom Brady for Carson Palmer.
"In all honesty, it's something that I've thought about nearly every day since January," said Derek Harlan. "It really shouldn't raise too many eyebrows because they are probably the next two in line after Peyton Manning. I realize there is obviously concern over Palmer's knee, but what can I say-I love the guy."
Why make the offer now?
"Why not? I've been debating it for several months and if he says no I'm stuck with Tom Brady, which isn't all that bad," joked Harlan.
