Week 4 MVRL predictions

There have been some questions as to why my week 3 picks were so brief. There is a simple answer to that-they had to be. I was sorta crunched for time because we were planning a trip to the zoo. Plus, I needed to shake things up---2-10 the first two weeks isn't exactly the way to get rich in Vegas. Maybe I should do it the same way this week--4-2 isn't too bad--but that's just not as fun. I'd rather go 1-5 and have fun than 4-2 and no fun. Whatever.

Owls @ Puffins
This is a tough call. I think it'll be low scoring as both of us have some key players facing tough Ds. Who woulda thought on Draft Day that in week 4, two 2-1 teams would have Rex Grossman, Steve McNair, Alex Smith, & David Carr in their respective active lineup?

Double Down @ Hud's Hitters
Getting Steve Smith & T.J. Hushmanmynameisverylong makes Hud a lot better, but he now has to deal with an ailing Corey Dillon. Daniels has his own issues with the former Viking duo of Culpepper & Moss, but I think they both will have a good game Sunday and give Daniels the W.

With the Broncos on their bye week, the winless Pietschskins may have a better chance to pick up their first win of the season. Unfortunately, they're up against the 2-1 Maddogs. I see Steven Jackson running wild on the Lions, Larry Fitzgerald going nuts against the Falcons, and Braylon Edwards continuing to emerge as a fantasy stud against the Raiders.

I don't know why, but I have a feeling that Al's two game skid has made the bandwagon a bit less crowded. My advice is to hop back on! The Monday night stinker by Vick and Brees will be followed up with big games for both and as much as I hate to say this-the Ravens D is due for a bad game.

How much longer can Milt's winning streak go? I love his matchups this week, plus Fagan has 4 whiteboys in his lineup which is about two too many.

Are you kidding me? One of these teams is going to be 1-3 after this one's over? I have a hard time believing that. Such a hard time, in fact, that I don't believe it.
