I just don't get the NFL. Last week, the Patriots were done. Their time has passed. No receivers. Brady's body language...blah, blah, blah. Today, they are #5 in the NFL power rankings. What a difference a week makes. Whatever.

I don't really know how long I can ride the David Carr-Andre Johnson combo, but I'm hoping for a while. If you had the over on this one (130) you came away happy.

Daniels got nice games from the Bears D, Marquis Colston, Charlie Frye, Kevin Jones, and Roy Williams to knock off the Hitters. Do you realize that Daniels has two (Bears & Chargers) of the top four defenses in our league?

Kamikaze Maddogs 128 (91), Pietschskins 78 (80)
Huge games from Santana Moss and Byron Leftwich led a number of players in double digits for Scott. Right now the Dogs are the deepest team in the MVRL.

Carpetbaggers 101 (84), Benchpressers 68 (82)
These two teams combined for 169 points (hope you took the over again). Donovan McNabb and the Chiefs D combined for 71 of those points. What does this mean? I have no idea.

Crapshoot 71 (92), Rampage 64 (111)
So much for the too many whiteboys theory. Carson Palmer posted a bagel, but the other three in the lineup combined for 25 points to lead the Crapshoot to the upset over Milt's Rampage. For Terry, it was a hell of a run.

Buffet Boys 85 (87), Creamers 47 (87)
Big games from the Cowboys D and Larry Johnson carried the Boys. The Creamers are reeling and face the Baggers next week in a must-win game.
