With the NFL regular season set to kick off Thursday night, thus kicking off Week 1 of the MVRL, we will be posting our Week 1 predictions sometime in the next 48 hours.
"This site has really been pathetic since last football season ended," said Derek Harlan. "We really feel that football season is our bread and butter and we're going to give our readers what they like with our weekly predictions, Puffin notebook, and Tuesday morning crow. We've even got an idea or two for some new additions that we really feel will make this site as entertaining and informative as TKN or QT. We'll see."

Regarding the MVRL, Harlan said he will only make predictions on a weekly basis and that the only team that really stood out to him was the Buffet Boys. "They're effing loaded," quipped Harlan, adding that "this could very well be the year Eric gets that monkey off his back."
As for his own team, the Horned Puffins, he says time will tell. "We like what we have on paper, but last time I checked they engrave the trophy in December or January, not August or September, so we'll see."
